More additions to the Newbie stash:
Well I bought a few things off the babylegs site last night for the 75% off but I am not sure how much will be for the baby and how much will go in my gift storage box so I am not going to add that into our current tally ;)
So I guess I didn't add anything else yet. LOL

Goodbye 2010! Hello 2011!
Wow today is the last day of 2011 how is that possible? Tomorrow is the start of a New Year and will be the start of many good things I am hoping.
We are going into the New Year with all of our bills fully paid off, a baby on the way, money in the bank, and surrounded by family what could be better?
A few of our New Years Resolutions:
To get another bedroom built in the walkout basement, so its only 2 in a room rather than 3 or 4.
To keep all of the bills paid up and on time.
To excell at my classes this year.
To finish painting the front room.
To do well in school.
And to give birth to a beautiful healthy baby!
I will think of more and come back later :)

New Year New Calender
Every year its a necessity to buy a new calender. Especially in my family a good size easy to read calender is a major necessity. We have to keep track of sports, doctors, homework, pictures, field trips, birthdays, ect. And with 6kiddos and mom and dad wow does that space fill up FAST!
Last year I was thinking of switching from the calender I usually use. What a waste of money. I ended up buying the calender I always use anyway because the calender just didn't work.
So if you are looking for a calender recommendation from a busy momma that holds everything together, here is the one I recommend: http://www.flylady.com/pages/FlyShop_calendar.asp

The start of my Newbie Stash and the cost!
So I have started on baby to be's newborn stash.
I want to keep a running tally to see how much I spend and show how it saves money.
Cloth diapering is a wonderful thing its an experience I am so glad that I decided to try.
So here is the start of our stash, So far:
10 Kissaluv O's these are the new V2 series ($86.00)
5 NB Piddle Poddle Cadillac AIO's ($50.00)
5 NB Kissaluv Contours ($20.00)
2 Bummis Super Bright Covers ($12.50)
Pr of GN Knit Longies (These were given to me by a wonderful mommy in a lotto!!)
So that means so far I have spent $168.50. Not to bad for 20 diapers, 2 covers, and a pr of longies!)
I am thinking my final NB stash will be 1 -2 dozen fitteds, 1 dozen AIO's, 1 dozen prefolds and 6-12 covers. I don't think I will do much wool for Summer but I will start when the munchkin is about 3 months old!!
I will post some pictures when everything comes in :)

Christmas is over, Welcome New Year!!
I can't believe that 2011 is almost here. My one goal for the end of this year was to go into 2011 with all of my bills caught up and paid off and I did it! Paid the last of them today. Woohoo.
Feeling a little run down today have been having trouble sleeping the last few days. I think I have baby on the mind.LOL I spend constant time looking for diapers. I bought my first set of diapers this week for our newest addition, I am so excited to get them :)
Got a phone call this week telling me I have Gestational diabetes so now I am off to the specialist on the 17th of January. I am so nervous that I won't be able to keep up on the diet they want me to follow. I like sugar now and then and I love soda pop and last night my cousin said that I won't be able to have pizza anymore either. Oh the horror :P Well maybe I will lose some weight this time. Hmmm I guess that could be a good thing.
Also looking for a new pediatrician. The one we have now has a horrendous office staff and when you go to the doctor you deal with the staff ALOT. They are very unfriendly, when they went in to do my ydd's shots one time they asked me to LEAVE the room while they did. As if! The learned the hard way that I am a hands on mommy and there was no way in haides that I was leaving my baby for them to do shots. Huh. :(
What are you New Year's resolutions? How have you done in previous years with your resolutions?

Another day..
So many things happen in a day when you have a large family. Its amazing.
Yesterday we went sledding, the kids had a blast and no one got hurt!
Then we went to Grandma's to open presents and have dinner.
Tonight I am going to try a new recipe for us and see if it goes over well.
It is turkey rolls:
Sliced Turkey
Stuffing
Gravy
Cook the stuffing wrap up the turkey around the stuffing.
Add gravy over it and bake at 350 for about 45 mins.
We are having it with mashed potatoes and probably carrots.
So Easy! :) And good.
Today is the day we are finally going to get the tree up. Woohoo. I know it is Christmas eve but with all the problems I have had with this pregnancy and being on bedrest we just haven't had time. I am going to watch today and let the munchkins decorate :)
Well Merry Christmas or happy holidays to you all :)

Introduction. About Me...
Hi I am Tamara. I am a mommy of 6 with baby number 7 on the way July 2011! We are super excited!
A few things about me: I love to coupon and love to save money.
I love having a large family!
We live in a very small village/town and everybody knows everybody!
We have 4 girls and 2 boys! We are kind of hoping for Blue come July! But will love either!!
We are a cloth diapering family.
I also ebf, my son had problems and couldn't breastfeed long but we did try. I have breastfed all of my girls for at least a year with my almost 3 yr old I breastfed her until she was 2!
Most of my kiddos are in school full time though we are currently tossing around the idea of homeschooling or chartering schooling online. I will keep you posted on that adventure!
My children have some disabilities as does my husband, I will try to elaborate on this at a later time!
I am currently enrolled in college full time in a pre-social work program. It is my lives dream I am hoping to achieve it by May 2014!!
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!!
